What is your opinion of the marriage ceremony you read about in Chapter 12?
What was similar to weddings you know?
What struck you as foreign? What are the benefits to a ceremony like this?
I think that the Marriage ceremony in the book was not that different. The preparation leading up to it might have been a little different than what we do, but the actual ceremony was not much different. They all wore their best clothes to the wedding like we do here. Most people especially women going to the wedding helped prepare things for it like the food.

- same - relatives - community, music, bride and groom, dancing, bride greeted and maybe had wedding party, food, booze
- different - bride price, goat and animals, many wives. timing, no vows
